While I am no Trumpster, I believe if you are not seeing what is happening after reading this article then you have some kind of agenda. Maybe you're just not paying attention, or you're angry at the world itself for oh, so many reasons. Sadly, all of us seem to be in one of these moods most of the time.
Amazingly persecution started the moment the escalator ride occurred but bloomed once political foes started to fear his potential. In 2016, the FBI embarked on an investigation into then-candidate Trump, fueled by a report commissioned and promoted by his opponent the Clinton campaign. This report served as the catalyst for the probe, which went to such extremes as surveilling Trump's private conversations. Astonishingly, President Barack Obama and his administration were fully aware of the origins of this story, understanding it to be a fabrication by Hillary Clinton herself. Yet, they took no action to halt the investigation.
Once Trump assumed the presidency, the situation deteriorated rapidly. Russia Russia Russia was screamed from every noock and cranny. The media and politicians unleashed a relentless barrage of attacks, fully aware that these accusations were built on falsehoods. Members of Congress, entrusted with access to highly classified intelligence, shamelessly lied to the American public on televised platforms day after day, after day. They even established a special counsel to scrutinize Trump, grasping at any opportunity to implicate him in criminal activities. The numbers do not lie, time and time again Trump was proven innocent.
Not only did the FBI and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) spearhead these unjust actions, but they also exploited their influence to stifle the spread of any information on social media that exposed the lies. They trampled on the principles of the First Amendment with impunity, leaving those who could have intervened paralyzed by inaction. These actions will continue to reverberate throughout this century.
Amazingly in 2020, Joe Biden launched his campaign on a false claim, falsely alleging that Trump had referred to neo-Nazis as "fine people." Despite widespread knowledge of the truth, the media failed to correct or challenge this fabrication. 46 still occasionally uses this trope today. Meanwhile when the New York Post broke the explosive story about Hunter Biden's laptop, the FBI promptly sent hundreds of documents to Twitter, seeking to suppress the story despite being aware of its veracity.
The events of 2021 only added to the distressing saga. In the wake of perceived irregularities in the election, thousands of protestors marched on the Capitol. Some clearly broke the law and should be punished. However, most protesters were unexpectedly welcomed by the police and escorted through the building. Trump himself had already urged his supporters to disperse peacefully before they even entered. Nonetheless, investigations ensued, and self-proclaimed "Republicans" such as Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney eagerly seized the opportunity to bask in the limelight, fully aware that Trump had committed no wrongdoing.
In 2022, the FBI went so far as to raid Trump's home, searching for classified documents. Meanwhile, it was revealed that Joe Biden had held documents in his garage for over a decade without any such intrusion. The stark contrast in treatment was glaring not to Americans but to the entire world. The nation that has fought for liberty around the globe now appears to be corrupt and unjust.
Since his tenure in office, Trump has been subjected to an incessant barrage of investigations, all aimed at derailing his prospective 2024 campaign. No other individual in recent history has faced such relentless persecution.
This issue extends beyond the realm of Trump himself. It serves as a chilling reminder that dissidents will be ruthlessly dealt with. Even an American President and accomplished businessman found himself unable to speak out or fight against the entrenched forces of the political establishment, commonly referred to as "the swamp."
The story of Donald Trump's treatment serves as a cautionary tale about the erosion of justice and the suppression of dissenting voices. It underscores the urgent need to address the systemic flaws in our political system and uphold the principles that safeguard democracy. Only then can we ensure that no citizen, regardless of their position or background, falls victim to such flagrant abuse of power again.
